An addition to the BFF club!

About a month ago when I went to Logan with Matthew, Stacy told me she wanted to go out somewhere "just the two of us." All week I wondered, "where are we going to go? What's the surprise?" Well it come time for our little BFF outing and next thing I know we are in front of Needhams (for those of you who may not be familiar with Logan, is the oldest jewelry store in Cache Valley.)

"What are we doing at Needhams Stacy?"
"Surprise!"

Wow it hit me like a ton of bricks! Stacy and I have joked about all our friends getting married right and left and now she's next! Man there is nothing like having your best friend getting married either and I can't believe its finlay here... where did time go?! It feels just yesterday we were building tree houses in her parents backyard!

Well since things weren't "official" I postponed posting these pictures on my blog. But a month has now come and gone and Stacy and Brett got engaged on the 22nd! Congrats you two!

I got to see Stacy and Brett on their way home from California this week. I ran out of work real quick, got some hugs and this little snap shot!

Congrats you two! .....and Brett, welcome to the BFF club!

hermanitas lindas

I love you girls more than words could explain! I never thought my heart could hold that much love! Las amo tanto mis ninas lindas!

an ADDITION to our LOVE

The time I have with my family is precious! I am so grateful I was able to sneak off for a week. I needed it so much! I can't believe how fast my little girls are growing! As many of you know the house is currently under construction; or addition I should say. I guess the cement bags and wooden ladder came to good use for more than just construction, they actually made a pretty great place for a "photoshoot." I am amazed at the addition to our love!

...and of course the little ginnies got in on the action!

I love you so much my little girls! your big Hermana,

Erica

buenas noches

"Mac Ciro"

As some may have noticed, when I was home in November, Mariana and I went out to eat hot dogs. She told me they weren't as good as "Mac Ciros" but they would do. Well this time she and Daniel drove me stright to Macciro's "hotcho" stand. Mariana was right, those are the BEST hot dogs I have ever had in my life!

*a side story since I'm on the topic of hot dogs. Diane and the girls and I went to COSTCO one day... I got a hot dog at their food court. As I reached over to put some relish on my hot dog, it hit me hard that I was in Mexico when I realized what would have been the relish dispencer had "Jalapenos" written across it!

Don Juan

This is Don Juan. I met him on my way to Puebla. I guess you could say we didn't get off to a good start seen as he felt there were 3 things wrong in my life:

1) I am not studying law
2) I have a "Novio"
3) I have a "Novio" while going to school

I think it only took a good 30 minutes before things started turning around... my life wasn't that bad after all. We talked a lot about the gospel; families, morals, eternity, the word of wisdom, prayer ... He was blown away that young kids today could live in accordance to the things I shared with him. Pretty much after 3 hours of sharing thoughts, he gave me his "blessing." His intentions to "teach me a hting or two" were genuine; I learned a lot from him.
