Puebla: Mariana

Mariana and I went to a play for blind people. Those of us that weren't blind, had to wear blind folds the entire time (like an hour.) We had to imagine what was going on, by hearing, tasting, smelling and touching. It was incredible. They are the only professionally acredited group that performs exclusively for blind people. It was a very touching and entertaining experience.

After visiting with my family in Puebla, Mariana and I spent the night together. After the play, we went home to eat our hot dogs... carrots, jalapenos and all... the way I knew hot dogs! heheee It is great that after almost 20 years we are still great friends. Every time we get together, it feels like it was just yesterday that we were playing Barbies.

More surprising and rewarding was "Bichita." That is Mariana's gatita (cat) who very liberaly made herself comfortable on my tummy. I was laying down watching tv with Mariana, and next thing I know, Bichita walked right on top of me and made herself at home. That was comforting!

What a blessing to have such a great Amiga! Te quiero mucho Mari!
